One Hour Initial Behavior Consult/General Discussion (1hr / $120)

Schedule a one-hour consult with Trainer and Behaviourist Annie Phenix. The purpose of this initial consult is for owners to share their top concerns with behavior (or obedience) they are seeing in their dog. This is an information-gathering consult and not a detailed roadmap – those are offered in our behavior packages (see below). Annie will follow up with some educational emails that include articles, videos and suggested webinars that address your concerns for your specific dog. Discussion is recorded over Zoom and sent to the owner for future reference. Consults are paid in advance and are not refundable. 

OWNER REQUIREMENTS:  Please submit recent veterinary visit to rule out pain or other medical contributions that could contribute to a behavior concern. We recommend owners search for Fear Free Certified Veterinarians

Hour and a Half Ask Me Anything for your canine, writing and/or marketing groups (1.5hrs / $125)

Loose Leash Walking Consult (2 hours / $350)

Many people have frustrating on-leash walks with their dogs – and it can be equally as frustrating for your dog. Trainer and Behaviourist Annie Phenix walks you through from start to finish how to create an enjoyable, outdoor experience that meets your dogs needs as well as your own needs. The first hour consult is a discussion about your dog and your needs. The second hour takes place after you’ve had time to implement the training and submit videos for trouble shooting and additional enrichment ideas.

This behavior package is a one-on-one 4-week behavior education with Trainer and Behaviourist Annie Phenix is for first-time dog owners or owners who do not have extensive experience with dogs. If you are seeing canine behavior that you find troubling (excluding bites/aggression/reactivity), this is where to begin.

This package includes two 1-hour consults that are tailored to your dog and your unique experience. We meet over Zoom every other week and you can email me throughout the month for any reason and you will receive a priority response within 48 hours. Annie will email educational materials that directly speak to your dog’s issues all while keeping the canine-human bond intact. Annie creates a written Behavior roadmap for your dog. Dogs with a bite history are not eligible for this package.

We cannot begin without a veterinarian visit first. We recommend owners search for Fear Free Certified Veterinarians. Please submit 3 videos of your dog’s home environment and daily routine and 3 videos showing your behavior concerns if you can catch the dog doing them (please don’t set the dog up to demonstrate the behavior). This behavior package is a one-on-one, 8-week educational and consult work with Trainer and Behaviourist Annie Phenix is designed for owners observing troubling behavior in their dog that can include up to Level 3 bite (using the Canine Bite Scale developed by Dr. Sophia Yin: (https://prckc.org/wp-content/uploads/Canine-Bite-Levels.pdf). Level 3 bites include skin punctures.

Biting is a serious matter that can put an owner in legal danger and biting must be addressed ASAP – do not wait for a dog to “outgrow” a serious biting issues or reactivity. The sooner you bring in a qualified behavior expert, the better chances we have for helping your dog. This package also addresses anxious/reactive behavior in dogs and can include instruction on excessive behaviors and/or shy dogs.
